ISBN Assignment Agreement
Indie Author Revolution LLC

This ISBN Assignment Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into by and between Indie Author Revolution LLC, an Arizona-based limited liability company ("Provider"), and the undersigned individual or entity ("Author"), collectively referred to as the “Parties.”

By requesting and accepting an ISBN from Indie Author Revolution LLC, Purchaser agrees to the following terms:

1. Ownership & Rights

• Indie Author Revolution LLC does not claim, hold, or retain any rights to the content, cover, or intellectual property of the Author's work.
  
  

• Indie Author Revolution LLC cannot be held responsible for the book's cover design, manuscript content, or any legal issues arising from the publication.
  
  

• All copyrights and royalties remain 100% with the Author.
  
  

2. What the Author Receives

Upon payment, the Author will receive:

• One (1) official 13-digit ISBN issued by Bowker
  
  

• Barcode files in PNG, JPG, and/or PDF format
  
  

• Official listing as "Published by Indie Author Revolution LLC"
  
  

• This listing is for administrative purposes only and does not imply ownership, publishing rights, or entitlement to royalties on the part of Indie Author Revolution LLC.
  
  

3. Imprint & Logo Usage

• As a condition of this agreement, the Author is required to list Indie Author Revolution LLC as the official imprint publisher when registering and publishing the ISBN.
  
  

• The Author may, but is not required to, display the Indie Author Revolution LLC logo on the interior or exterior of the book.
  
  

• Display of the logo is optional and is left to the creative discretion of the author or designer.
  
  

4. Platform Compatibility

Our ISBNs are platform-flexible, meaning:

• There are no restrictions on where the ISBN can be used.
  
  

• Supported platforms include (but are not limited to): Kindle Direct Publishing, Barnes & Noble Press, Lulu, PublishDrive, and IngramSpark.
  
  

5. Terms of Use

• ISBNs are non-transferable. The Author may not resell, gift, or assign the ISBN to another author, entity, or publication.
  
  

• ISBNs are valid for a single book edition only. Each format (e.g., paperback, eBook, hardcover, audiobook) requires a separate ISBN.
  
  

• Any significant content changes (e.g., revised edition, updated cover, substantial rewrites) require a new ISBN.
  
  

6. Registration Requirements

To complete ISBN registration and assignment, Author must provide the following:

• Book Title

• Contributor Role (e.g., Author, Illustrator, Editor)
  
  

• Publication Date
  
  

• Medium (e.g., eBook, Print, Audio)
  
  

• Format (e.g., Paperback, Hardcover, EPUB, PDF)
  
  

• Primary Genre
  
  

• Title Status (e.g., Active, Forthcoming)
  
  

• Target Audience
  
  

• Retail Price (or pricing strategy)
  
  

• Book Cover Image (upload required)
  
  

Failure to provide these details will delay ISBN processing.

You will be sent a Google Form to make it easier to submit this information.

7. Refund Policy

All sales are final. No refunds will be issued.
Once assigned and registered, ISBNs cannot be changed, exchanged, canceled, or reassigned under any circumstance.

8. Legal Notice

The Author affirms they are the rightful owner of the book being published and hold the necessary rights to distribute and assign publishing metadata. Indie Author Revolution LLC is not liable for any misuse, copyright disputes, or misrepresentation tied to the publication of the book.

Agreement Acceptance

By signing or completing the ISBN assignment through Indie Author Revolution LLC, the Author affirms their agreement with the terms listed above.
